Jobseeker Services Committee
MAWB’s Jobseeker Services Committee brings together the expertise of local workforce board staff and connects them with state workforce development program staff to better understand employment data, strengthen support systems, and enhance jobseeker services across Minnesota.
The committee also serves as a platform for sharing best practices and fostering collaboration.
Business & Economic Development Committee
MAWB’s Business and Economic Development Committee works to have a broad-based committee membership which will share employer-related resources, information & workable solutions, and align efforts wherever possible all with the goal of benefitting employers across the state of Minnesota.
Legislative Committee
MAWB’s Legislative Committee strategizes with the state’s 16 workforce boards to develop and advocate for MAWB’s platform during each legislative session.
Operations Committee
MAWB’s Operations Committee, established in the organization’s by-laws, provides direction and makes key decisions related to the operations of the association. The committee is composed of the 16 local workforce area directors, ensuring representation from across the state.
The Operations Committee also serves as a forum to discuss statewide priority topics, with regular updates and engagement from DEED leadership.
